I have produced multimedia and programmed for well over 10 years, and closely followed the technology and marketplace of the net just as long.

For the moment there is a big push towards open standards and open source solutions. This makes it possible for smaller outfits to dip their toes into the waters of advanced online technology, which again makes it an exciting time to start up a tech business.

At the same time the noise of companies hyping their various dubious technologies is turning into a din. Which is a pity, as it makes it more difficult to separate the signal from the noise.

I've tried to take this view with me into Sonora IT. We want to be part of the signal, not the noise. We want to be the friendly, straight-forward company, where you get professional web software that just works.
